The hotel was a great base for exploring the beautiful area, nestled conveniently between the mountains and the city center. My twin room was equipped with central heating, multi-channel TV, and a writing desk, which was very convenient. The view over the lake from the hotel was truly stunning.

The staff at this mind-blowingly beautiful hotel were super helpful, ensuring our stay was fantastic. The pool and garden area were jaw-droppingly nice, perfect for relaxing. The whole place was spotlessly clean and the views from the rooms were absolutely incredible. The mountain backdrop and panoramic views of the city and lake were breathtaking. It's definitely a unique place to stay and we would love to come back for another day to enjoy the pool on a hot day. Plus, the owners were really friendly. We highly recommend this place!

This double room at Montebello had me swooning! The air conditioning was a godsend on those hot summer days, and the mountain view from the balcony was absolutely breathtaking. I loved kicking back in the cozy seating area, enjoying the tranquility of the garden view. And let's not forget the flat-screen TV that kept me entertained during lazy evenings. As a budget traveller, this room was an absolute dream come true!
Just a personal preference, but the only thing I liked less was the flat-screen TV.

During my recent trip to Lecco, I had the opportunity to stay at B&B Montebello. Although I was only there for transit, the proximity to the nearest airport, which was only 41 km away, was extremely convenient. This allowed for a hassle-free journey to catch my flight, saving both time and stress. the B&B offered spacious rooms, providing ample space for relaxation after a long day of travel.
While my stay at B&B Montebello was generally satisfactory, there was a slight negative feature that stood out. The cleanliness of the room was not up to par.

The cleanliness of the hotel, along with the comfortable bed, made for a super relaxing and enjoyable stay. The location was very pleasant and the pool area was inviting. Free wi-fi, free parking, and 24-hour security added convenience, while the outdoor swimming pool, sun loungers, and beach umbrellas provided the perfect place to unwind. The express check-in/-out made things quick and easy. Wheelchair access was available, and the absence of pets ensured a peaceful atmosphere. The air conditioning kept the room cool, and the no smoking policy was appreciated.

Free WiFi, but who needs it when you have a FABULOUS view from the poolside? Garden is lovely, but it's the Italian breakfast that really stole the show.
Who needs responsive staff anyways? It's so relaxing to be ignored.

The views from the hotel were absolutely stunning. We could see the beautiful hills and it felt so serene. The large pool in the garden was a great addition and provided a refreshing swim on a sunny day. The location was also convenient, with the city center within walking distance and easy access to explore the area.
There were quite a few rules that made the stay less relaxing. The pool had limited opening hours and there were strict silent hours in the afternoon and evening.
